We were at the beach...so beautiful...in fact, even if we compare the beauty of the beaches at any part of indonesian archipelago to those of our neighbour countries, far too beautiful and awesome. I love indonesia...
...mingling with people around me, an effort to capture the dynamic life of people around me, wherever I am to be...
In contemporary Javanese style, my lil sista wedding was held in my step grandmother house in Kajar, Karangtengah village, Wonosari....(or rather a house complex since it was built on a large ground) on 13 December 2008...it was such a beautiful moment
...Our guests were many from Anto's (Pipit's husband) and from Pipit's (my lil sista) added from my side...Mira, Sam, & Simon (their 2 year-old son)...from my younger sista's side (Rika) ....Rani & Nuno, David & Piton (Endi's friend) (Endi is Andi's bro....Rika's bf)...and our lovely Himey community (Rika's & my boarding housemate)...from Papa's side ...among them as I could remember ...P.Rahmadi, P.Arman (still many others
coming from Malang)...from Mama's side....all the neighbors in Budegan...and from the salesmen (her supplier)...Whew! What a FAMILY PARTY indeed!....Therefore I really felt like having such a gathering....thru my sista's wedding....as all the family from Papa's side were there....busy hospita
lizing all the guests....All the cuisines...main menus....were abundant and extravagant...except the taste....a bit plain to me....All the decorations....the ribbons...the flowers...the water fountains....the green leaves....the Javanese style musician...accompanying the banquet (so called 'reception')....
Some pics below will give clear image about the wedding...
1. Guests from every family member's side...coming at once to the wedding...writing down their names....acquiring the souvenir ....shaking hands with
a row of elders from Papa's side....leading to the stage where both parents and the brides sitting down....
2. The stage and background were beautifully decorated with water fountains and flowers....
3. The AMONG TAMU (receptionist) all in red....unmarried girls...(I could be one of them haha)
4. The traditional singers....I also contributed my voice by singing...BENGAWAN SOLO with the help from those singers....haha
