STUFF'S PRICES & SMALL RECIPE

The fasting month is around the corner, the prices are going up, perhaps these little sharing might help when you go out shopping; these stuffs' prices are found in traditional market. - Chicken wings 6 pieces 9,000 - Eggs 1 kilo 13,000 - Meat (near skin part/'tetelan') 1 oz 4,500 (= in carefour) - Potatoes 1 kilo 6,000 - Carrots (soft, almost rooten) 2,000 - Pineapple 2,000 (unpeeled) - Peanuts (with skin) 1 kilo 5,000 - Tofu 1 piece big 2,500 1. SOUP (invented recipe): if you like tofu, big green chili, sawi putih, you may add chikua (fr fish/octopus) and boil them all, and it will serve you a simple soup. you may add stirred egg before serving it, the smell will be better, and the soup will be not clear but a bit thick. 2. FRIED-RICE (modificated recipe): if you have left-over cooked-rice, you may chopped onion (bawang merah), fry in little oil till dry, put some meat, add the rice, and add chili powder (found in supermarket), and it will serve you a delicious fried-rice. 3. RED SOUP (traditional recipe): if you like sausage, beef sausage especially, you may cook them in a thin-boiled tomato sauce (take out the seeds and skin, and press down the tomato meat), lastly add carrots.
